After a million hours of flying, I'm finally back home. Home as in Salem, Oregon USA. It's been kind of shocking to find myself back in the States after traveling everywhere. I think I forgot this place really existed. It became more of an abstract concept.

It's good to be back, it's good to stop traveling for a few weeks, it's good to hang out with my friends. But the trip is in the process of haunting me. At some level, it has changed me, it has shown me the desperation of the cause I set out to investigate. I will never be allowed to forget what I have seen.

Here are a few more of my favorite pics from the trip.

The Hagia Sofia, a massive ancient Turkish church that was converted into a mosque at some point in history.
