I'm going to Europe.

Sometimes, well actually, A lot of times, my life is so cool. I get to do insane crazy things like go to Europe to investigate human trafficking issues or hang out in a meeting with the FBI. I am, however, occasionally overwhelmed by great crashing waves of hugeness... the feeling that what I'm doing is so huge I don't know what I'm doing. I begin to sense that I'm riding the currents of something so much bigger than myself. I'm like a boat, cast off to sea, flying across the world on the crest of a massive God-lead tidal wave. There's a definite feeling of lack of control but in a good way. My goals and plans would be too small for this wave. When I release control, God takes me to unimaginable places.

In three weeks I'll be traveling to hopefully seven different European and Eastern European countries. The goal is to investigate, observe and research human trafficking issues as well as network with ministries, NGOs and non-profits that are working in the field. I'm going to be looking for possible long-term ministry opportunities as well as places to send short-term teams. I don't know what to expect, I don't know what to plan for, I'm not certain who I'm going to meet or where exactly I'll go but I do know that this trip plays a vital role for future decisions and opportunities.

Cue again the feeling of riding a very large wave.

Oh, you may have noticed a PayPal "Donate" button on the left. As you can imagine, a trip to Europe is no small thing for a wage-less missionary. I'm wanting to make it as easy as possible for people to help me financially get there. The PayPal link wont give you a tax deductible receipt but if you want one let me know and I can give you an alternate method of donating.
