Which would you rather live, a life full of complication and strife but one where you achieve great things, or one of simplicity and calm with nothing spectacular accomplished?

And now to define my terms for those of you who will force it out of me.

Complication: a difficult factor or issue often appearing unexpectedly and changing existing plans, methods, or attitudes

Strife: an act of contention

Great things: things of greatness valued as such by a common group of people

Simplicity: the state of being simple, uncomplicated or uncompounded

Calm: free from agitation, excitement, or disturbance

Spectacular: something exhibited to view as unusual, notable, or entertaining; especially an eye-catching or dramatic public display
