The conference has finished and what a conference it has been.
This conference was for "young up-and-coming" YWAM leaders but it happened (and not by accident) to have taken place along side YWAM's senior leadership conference. Basically for two weeks I was hanging out with incredible young leaders in my track and then spending a lot of time with various regional and global directors and other big name YWAMers.
That in itself was an incredible opportunity, to meet and learn from people who had been in YWAM for years. But then, one of the senior leadership guys got a hold of me and asked me to do an optional presentation for everyone on human trafficking. Intimidating! But I got a hold of myself, fixed up my presentation, and spent an hour and a half with about 30 people talking and discussing human trafficking.
It's been amazing....two years ago I left Korea disheartened and discouraged. I returned to Korea this year on the *exact* day I left two years ago. It was almost like God was saying, look what I've done in your life; two years ago you were a lone ship in a large ocean with only a burning desire in your heart to draw you forward. Now you're traveling the world learning about trafficking and speaking in front of churches, youth groups and the senior leadership of the biggest mission organization. You're encouraging people to open their eyes to human trafficking and to *do* something about it.
God is amazing, that's all I can say.
