A moment to breathe....
So many amazing things have been happening over the past few weeks. I should really be writing them down and remembering them but I've hardly had a moment to breathe.
Yesterday I spoke at a youth group and told them all about human trafficking. At the end of the meeting a guy got up and read a long article about trafficking, basically reading word for word what I had shared minutes before. Neither of us knew that the other was going to be sharing. Coincidence? The youth pastor didn't think so and neither do I.
Today after I gave an announcement about Freedom Day at the Salem youth leaders monthly luncheon, the lady sitting next to me leaned over and said she *had* to talk to me. She told me that two weeks ago a man had come to her church and shared about trafficking. She was appalled by what she heard and desperately wanted to know more. She had never gone to the luncheon but thought it may be a good place to get some answers. Her only purpose in coming was to learn about human trafficking... and there I was, sitting right next to her my head about to burst with all the stuff I could tell her.
The stories continue. I was drowning in the amount of little things that needed to be done before next Friday so God sent me three fulltime helpers. I needed help designing flyers so a person I didn't know emailed me and volunteered his time.
I still don't have speakers but I think I know why. Among other people, I'm supposed to speak. Go figure. I wanted to bring in the qualified experts who had a lot of knowledge and experience on the subject, but God made it clear that he wants passion; passion to motivate his people into action, passion to put a burning flame in their hearts, passion to be the hands and feet of Christ.... Passion to change the world.
