Back in Tacoma again.

I hitch hike on planes for cheap. It might sound nice but there's a serious catch; you may get stranded in a foreign city (or country) and end up spending wads of money to survive the ordeal. Yesterday, hitch hiking from San Diego to Seattle, I was lucky enough to get stranded in Portland, where at least I knew people. Cami and Deidre were obliging enough to drive me half way to Tacoma and meet my parents who drove half way down to pick me up. We had a very nice reunion in a McDonald's parking lot at 11pm. It must have looked strange to people walking past....

I'm in Tacoma for a while. I need to set up an "official" financial system so people will be reassured that I'm a responsible missionary. I'm hoping to use my parents church as a financial base of operations. Who knows how long that will take, but it will be useless to run around asking for support if I have no place for people to send money.
